Small Groups
We believe that your vacation should be a personal affair, a chance for you to enjoy yourself as part of an intimate group. That's why most of our domestic trips are limited to only 12 guests, giving The World Outdoors one of the lowest guide-to-guest ratios in the industry -- an average of 1 to 4. In addition to affording more personal attention, small groups increase our access to special places and people, and allow the flexibility to indulge in your particular interests.

Off-the-Beaten-Path Itineraries

Environmental Commitment
Since The World Outdoors was founded in 1988, we have worked to support environmental causes close to both our homes and our hearts. Our primary focus is to lessen our impact and reduce, reuse, and recycle -- to leave areas in better condition than when we found them. We know that our adventures will only be possible if we preserve the places we love.

Lessening Our Impact
In 1998, we started a comprehensive environmental review to examine our operations and promised to continue to seek ways to lessen our environmental impact. In our office, we've made significant changes through the utilization of Wind Energy. We also use processed, chlorine-free post-consumer recycled paper, tree-free paper, and soy-based inks whenever possible for printing our marketing materials. In short, we're striving to become a waste-free, paperless company.
